Mother’s Day is fast approaching and we’re all looking for a great gift to make Mum’s day. Here is my thoughtfully curated gift guide for Mum. I hope it helps in your search for the perfect present.
I love coming up with present ideas. I find it fun thinking about that a person likes and matching them with a gift that will make them happy. Whilst I love present shopping, I’ll admit it can be tricky! Sometimes my mind just draws a blank and I can’t think of anything to buy or make. That was the case this Mother’s Day. Luckily, I came up with a present idea today. So, I thought, ‘Why not share some present ideas to help anyone else struggling?”
And so, this gift guide was created.
I have tried to include presents from varying price ranges that would suit varying female tastes. But don’t feel pressured to buy your Mum something after looking at this list. Cook or make her something special and she will love it just as much.
What happens if your order doesn’t arrive on time?
Don’t fret if your present doesn’t arrive before Mother’s Day. Include a special note inside your card with a picture of the present and some words explaining what it is. I’ve done this numerous times in the past and it works a treat. With everything going on right now with closed shops and shipping delays, I’m sure Mum will understand.
For the Mum who loves her beauty sleep
Once you try a silk pillowcase, there’s no going back. You say goodbye to unruly bed hair and face creases and look forward to lying your head on the cool silk each night. Available in Blue and Pink, these facial massagers help depuff, cool and enhance skins radiance. I have been eyeing them out for a while and they look like a lot of fun! Secondly, there’s the Foreo Luna Play series. These are fantastic tools that help work your cleanser into your skin to keep skin clean and radiant. I recommend the Luna series as they are a lot cheaper (the full size is $299) and serve as a safe introduction into skin cleansing tools.
For the Mum who loves a practical (yet beautiful) present
Spoiler alert, this is the gift I chose for my Mum. Maison Balzac create these stunning carafe sets in a range of colours and they make the perfect practical, yet beautiful gift. A carafe is a great gift idea for Mums working at home who need a stylish water station. But honestly, any mum who likes to stay hydrated throughout the day will love this gift. For the Mum who loves self-care

You cannot go past Kitty Flanagan’s 488 Rules for Life: The Thankless Art of Being Correct if your mum loves a lighthearted and funny read. This book is witty and very cheeky and it’s sure to make your mum smile. On the complete other end of the spectrum, The Tattooist of Auschwitz by Heather Morris is a heart-wrenchingly fantastic read.
